As the Province of BC continues to implement measures to fight COVID-19 , First Aid Hero will continue to follow the direction from the Provincial Health Officer (PHO). The following will be in effect as of November 17, 2022.  Starting November 17, 2022, people who have COVID-19 are no longer required to self-isolate.  However, it is still important for people with symptoms to stay home as much as possible to reduce any potential spread of illness until your symptoms have improved, and you are able to participant in your usual activities.

If you are experiencing flu like symptoms such as a fever or coughing, please do not come to the campus.  Stay home until your symptoms are gone (without the use of medicines to alleviate).  Be sure to contact First Aid Hero before your class and let us know you will not be attending due to illness.  Only those who contact First Aid Hero prior to the start of course will be eligible to reschedule.  If you are attending a multi-day course and are ill after the first day contact First Aid Hero as soon as possible.

• Face masks/coverings will be recommended but not required while on campus.
• Hand hygiene will continue to be enforced and sanitizer will remain available.
• A brand new CPR pocket mask will be provided to all first aid participants.
• First Aid Hero will ensure there is good use of ventilation when courses are scheduled.
